Puppeteer/Performer
The Muppets Present Great Moments in American History!
Walt Disney World
September 6, 2018-March 14, 2020

This was my first paid show where I got to use an arm rod hand puppet. Not only did I get to work with professional puppeteers, but I experienced partner work along with improvisation. This show used to be height restricted, but Disney saw my talent and allowed me to learn the show. I was the first and only puppeteer below 5'6" in this production. October 5, 2019 was the last time this show operated on a regular basis, but it made seasonal debuts December 23-31, 2019 and February 15-17, 2020 afterwards. These debuts would have most likely continued, but due to Covid-19 this show is currently not operating.
Festival of the Lion King
Walt Disney World
February 25, 2015-Present

Being an full body puppet at this stage is truly an honor and I treasure every moment. Working here allows me to advance in my skills, animation and improvisation. I have even worked special events with this puppet, one of which was a SAG film for The View. Due to Covid-19, this show is not operating at its fullest. A new production called Celebration of Festival of the Lion King was created to compensate for the pandemic and various parts of the show have slowly returned including Tumble Monkeys, flight of Maji and audience participation. Because of these, the name of the show has also returned.
Meet Star-Lord and Groot
Walt Disney World
May 5, 2017-September 29, 2018

As part of the opening cast, I have learned multiple ways to express emotions with a mechanical rod puppet. This puppet in particular had small movements with the help of three rods. Along with its many different ways to say, "I am Groot" as well as gasps, this puppet was filled with potential expressions. With complete control on when he speaks, how he speaks as well as lip sync and animation, this puppet required both hands and feet to operate while listening and knowing where to give proper eye focus, animation and response for guests and Star-Lord's interactions and pictures.

For two Christmas seasons, I performed with full body puppets. This show was my first experience with full body puppets and thanks to previous experience in Puppetry Workshops, I learned to grasps the art and skills for these types of puppets.
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Walt Disney World
September 25, 2014-March 14, 2020

This show was the start of my puppet career, introducing me to rod puppets and performing with them. Having two rod puppet roles, I grew in my knowledge of puppetry and learned various abilities, including adapting to different choreography, blocking and puppets. Due to Covid-19, this show is currently not operating, but as more entertainment opportunities are added to the parks, it is possible that this show will make a return.
Carved: A Pumpkin's Musical Adventure
Garden Theatre
September 2015-November 2015

As part of the original cast, I was given the honor of being a shadow puppeteer as well as a puppet assist for a live hand puppet. On top of working with various puppets, I also got to sing and dance. I even got to work with several talented performers, including Puppet Specialists Calvin Mack Lester II and Scott Huhn.
